Jan 20th - Feb 10th 2027
Part pluralistic pilgrimage / Part cultural immersion.
A core intention of this trip is to celebrate the myriad of spiritual traditions of India, aiming to give exposure to more than just the particular tradition that the hosts come from. It's not a trip for proselytizing or selling anyone on one particular path, but more to give exposure to at least a few different iterations of Bhakti (loving devotion) which call India home.
In the course of our travels we will visit Sufi shrines, Craft markets, Baul Bhandaras, Radha-Krishna temples, Kali missions, ashrams run on principals of sustainablity and symbiosis with the natural world as an expression of loving devotion, and multiple destinations where mystical syncretism can be witnessed and experienced.

Who is this trip for?
This trip is for anyone with an open mind and heart, interested to learn about various traditions. It’s a great trip for a first timer to India, as well as for somebody who has been before but wanted more.
How is it unique from other trips to India?
This trip is unique in the sense that it is not affiliated with any organization or institution with an agenda of preaching, conversion, etc… We would like you to get a well rounded experience, and come with a mind to share and to learn. This trip is centered around bhakti and spirituality but also will emphasize folk arts, music, and alternate ways of living, without any objective beyond facilitating an appreciation for the pluralism of India.
Facilitators
Govardhan Das & Azarina
HOSTS
Govardhan das has been living and studying in India for the past 4 years, mostly in West Bengal and Vrindavan. He is an initiated practitioner of the Gaudiya Vaisnava tradition as codified by Srila Jiva Goswami in his Sat-sandarbhas, but maintains an interest in learning about all spiritual traditions and cultures.
Azarina has a background in fine arts and has worked on projects and events of all sizes and scope. She is a spiritual seeker at heart and has a deep affinity for folk arts, music, South Asian and Middle Eastern cultural expression.
We met in the holy city of Vrindavan and instantly connected based on the mutual desire to go beyond the surface of the teachings of Bhakti and really internalize these teachings.
A few months after meeting, we traveled this yatra route together with our friends and decided that we’d like to share it with other seekers in the future, so we are really looking forward to doing that soon!
Nitai Das & anuradha dasi
KIRTAN & YOGA
After nearly a decade of living, travelling, and studying in India, our paths crossed through a shared love for Bhakti and its living traditions.
Anuradha grew up in a family rooted in Vedic of astrology (Jyotish) and began teaching yoga from a young age.
Nitai’s journey has been shaped by kirtan, Vedic philosophy, and the deeper questions explored through Eastern spirituality.
Today, we continue studying while living at our guru’s ashram, and love sharing what we learn with the people and communities we meet along the way.
